Contact Lenses

Our Guaranteed Contact Lens Success Program has been designed to set the patients mind at ease. Many times patients have tried contact lenses and have failed to remain successful. Dr. Anderson provides the examination and screening for contact lenses, the lenses, cases, solutions, instructions on care and handling, a contact lens service agreement, one year of contact lens evaluations, and as many refitting or exchanges of contact lenses until the patient and Dr. Anderson are happy with the fit. Our guaranteed contact lens success program is available with most types of contact lenses.

NEW! Now you can be free of daytime contact lenses and glasses during your daily activities without undergoing surgery, and enjoy great vision...

Corneal Refractive Therapy with Paragon CRT®
Recent clinical research combined with the latest corneal surface mapping technology, computerized manufacturing and space age oxygen-breathing materials have brought new science to corneal reshaping.

Corneal Refractive Therapy is a non-surgical process clinically developed to reshape the cornea while you sleep the result is the temporary correction of myopia (nearsightedness) with or without moderate astigmatism (irregular surface of the cornea).

Similar in appearance to standard contact lenses Paragon CRT therapeutic lenses gently reshape the corneal surface during sleep and provide clear, natural vision when the lenses are removed upon waking.

Because Paragon CRT offers freedom from glasses and the hassle of wearing contact lenses during the day, this leading-edge technology can enhance the lifestyle of those requiring vision correction. Active individuals can freely participate in sports without the interference of glasses or bother of contacts. Eye irritation or dryness sometimes associated with contact lens wear due to outside dust and pollutants is eliminated.

Our office has had the pleasure of restoring functional natural vision without the use of daytime contact lenses with the prescribing of Paragon CRT. If you are interested in this new technology, please contact our office for additional information, or visit Paragon’s web site for further questions at http://www.paragoncrt.com

About Contact Lenses

Excellent Service

Dr. Anderson understands the concept of hard to fit contact lenses. He has a very difficult prescription with a lot of astigmatism. He was a hard to fit contact lens patient many years ago. That is why Dr. Anderson has a corneal topographer to evaluate the corneal shape looking for any irregularities or complications to fitting contact lenses. A thorough eye examination is performed to determine your suitability for contact lenses. All contact lens fittings include a comprehensive examination, corneal topography, the lenses, care kit, instructions for wearing schedule and cleaning, and unlimited follow up visits for three months.

Reasons to consider Contact Lenses

  • Contact lenses provide improved peripheral vision, decrease distortions caused by glasses
  • Contact lenses allow better performance in sports and an active lifestyle
  • Cosmetic improvement
  • Glasses fog up in many winter activities, such as snow skiing or snowmobiling

Financial Considerations

The cost of contact lenses is dependent on the type of lens and modality that is agreed upon by Dr. Anderson and the patient. There are many factors that make up the total cost of the contact lenses:

  • Comprehensive eye exam
  • Contact lens evaluation
  • Corneal topography
  • Care kit solutions
  • Instructions and dispensing from a staff member
  • Follow up visits (at least three months)
  • And finally the contact lenses
  • Contact lens service agreement

If you already wear contact lenses and need to update your prescription, Dr. Anderson will want to have your previous prescription transferred to his office and to schedule a routine comprehensive eye exam. The fees associated with this are minimal when compared to a new patient with no previous contact lens experience.

The various contact lens options have advantages and disadvantages that are all evaluated during the contact lens evaluations to find the best fit for each patient’s needs.
