	The newest addition of our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment is the Visante™ OCT. This dynamic piece of equipment has been added to our office to provide anterior imaging of the eye in addition to the Stratus OCT, which scans the retina and optic nerve. The Visante™ OCT system is the first to provide clear, highly detailed, in-depth images of the anterior chamber, including dependable angle information, without the need for ocular anesthesia or a messy, time-consuming water bath. 	A New Way To Analyze Disease OCT3 is the only instrument to offer three diagnostic capabilities: Macula - RNFL - Optic Nerve Head The dynamic information provided by the OCT3 produces retinal images never seen before. OCT3 is a tomographic imaging device unlike ordinary topographic units available. The complete cross-sectional view of the retinal structure provided by the OCT3, demonstrates actual histology. 	The PreView PHP™ is a diagnostic instrument to detect and monitor the progress of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The easy to use touch screen monitor utilizes no chin support and the short examination time of approximately 5 minutes per eye is convenient for our patients. 	Computerized Lens Analyzer For accurate reading of previous and new prescriptions. This valuable tool allows our staff continuous feedback and notification of special situations, such as lens distortions or rapid power changes.
	Computerized Corneal Topographer To survey the cornea and provide a detailed topographical map of its shape. If you are considering new contact lenses or thinking about refractive surgery (a vision correcting procedure involving the cornea), this information is vitally important. This test can detect slight conditions often invisible to even the most thorough examination. The system can also help Dr. Anderson monitor subtle changes on your cornea over time.
	Computerized Visual Field testing Imperative when monitoring the intra-ocular pressure of your eyes. Glaucoma is a loss of your peripheral visual field due in part to increased pressure inside the eye. When the pressure is approaching an uncomfortable level, Dr. Anderson orders this test to be performed and consults with you regarding the results.
	Digital Ocular Imaging Used to document as well as communicate with other physicians across Northern Colorado or the world if necessary. This imaging allows Dr. Anderson to store a visual image of your eye into his computer system for future reference. If communication or second opinion is needed, the image is downloaded from his exam room into an e-mail and it is sent over the Internet. This allows a second opinion without the patient even leaving our office.
	Computerized Auto-refractor/Keratometer This instrument allows immediate patient verification of their prescription. Complete testing is performed including near vision, glare, low contrast, children and non-verbal patients. The results are accurate and fast every time, even with children and the elderly.
	Patternless Edging System Added to the office in the first quarter of 1999. This brings to the office accurate and repeatable fabrication of eyeglasses. The quality of the eyewear is just as important as the examination that determines the prescription. When eyeglasses are ordered in our office, our patients are assured that the high tech approach continues throughout the entire process until the glasses are placed on your face.
